Does Food Allergy Institute provide at-home doses? Will we be provided the food dosing, or will we have to purchase it throughout the program?
The Tolerance Induction Program fee will include the gummy dosing required for at-home dosing and in-house food challenges.
The Tolerance Induction Program fee will include the gummy and tart dosing required for at-home dosing and in-house food challenges. We provide our patients with functional gummy and tart doses for their at-home regimens for all doses that cannot be measured on a traditional measuring spoon set. Once doses increase to amounts that can be measured on a traditional measuring spoon set (i.e., ⅛ tsp peanut), each family will be responsible for providing and preparing those doses.
Kindly note, that our Food Lab will provide all gummy and tart doses needed to help patients reach remission efficiently and effectively. Any discretionary requests that are beyond the patient’s food dosing strategy, may be subject to additional fees. Discretionary reasons may include extra doses needed due to vacation, camp, dosing non-compliance, and/or patient error (e.g., lost doses). This list is not exhaustive. All additional dosing requests will be vetted on a case-by-case basis.
