What should we do to prepare for our first in-person visit?

There are a few things you can do to prepare for your child’s first in-person appointment, also known as their onboarding appointment

  • Arrive to our treatment center 15 minutes early for check-in.
  • Seven days before your first appointment, please stop all antihistamine use.
  • If your child develops an illness before or on the day of their onboarding appointment, please call the enrollment department to reschedule (562-490-9900, option 2).
  • Ensure that your child arrives to their appointment well-fed and fully hydrated. Your child will be completing blood work at this visit.
  • Please do not fast for the blood work. After completing the onboarding blood draw, do not fly for at least three hours.
  • Relax knowing that your child is on their way to food freedom!
