Is the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP) FDA-approved?

The Tolerance Induction Program™ (TIP) is not FDA-approved. FDA approval is typically granted to “human and veterinary food and drugs, biological and tobacco products, medical devices, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation.” (FDA). Most food allergy treatments, like TIP and Oral Immunotherapy (OIT), do not fit within the categories of FDA approval.

The Tolerance Induction Program operates with FDA oversight through our Institutional Review Board (IRB) Advarra.
