What is Palforzia?

Palforzia is a peanut oral immunotherapy (OIT) product approved by the FDA in January 2020. It is a peanut allergen powder that helps reduce the risk and severity of allergic reactions to peanuts, including anaphylaxis, in children ages 4 to 17. Its benefits are limited to peanut allergies. Palforzia is a medication that must be taken daily to maintain the treatment effect. Palforzia will be discontinued on 7/31/2026.
