What types of lung function tests are used during TIP?
Food Allergy Institute employs two types of lung function tests during TIP:
- Spirometry: Measures how much air you can inhale and exhale, helping estimate lung air volume.
- Exhaled Nitric Oxide (ENO) Test: Measures exhaled nitric oxide levels, associated with airway inflammation (relevant for asthma or allergic asthma).
